The old reliable one

The old reliable one

Passing through Vacarisses halt at a good speed on San Fermín's day is Potasero (potash train) No. 53552 from Manresa Clasificación to Flix, hauled by the 269-352 'pseudo-andem' locomotives.

Back then, you were lucky to spot Class 269 locomotives in a clean Traction Business Unit livery, as there were very few left. The line's original catenary masts, belonging to the Cía. de Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España (Northern Railway Company), can still be seen.

Nearly 10 years later, I managed to photograph them again sporting what was then the new GoTransport livery.
