Civia unit 465-261 shunts at Mollet - Santa Rosa station to access the branch line to the Alstom factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, where certain points will be checked under warranty.

The Alstom branch line has no departure signal and connects to the main line via a crossover with manual points secured by a Bouré electric key lock. To carry out these shunting movements, a member of the station staff is usually called in from Granollers Canovellas. Local control for shunting must be granted so that someone can release the key and operate the crossover points. This is a centralised shunting movement, allowing the train to pass the departure signal and enter the running line. Unlike normal signal aspects, the centralised shunt aspect is cleared and restored by the Signaller or CTC operator, allowing the train to move forwards or backwards. Once everything is completed, the centralised shunt aspect is cancelled, the points are returned to their normal position, the key is replaced in the lock, local shunting control is withdrawn, and everything is set.
