Milan, a perfect example

Visiting Milan was a long-overdue trip that had been firmly etched on my bucket list. When we finally decided to go, the preconceptions I had about the city's transport network did not come close to what I actually ended up seeing and experiencing for myself.

Trams that go far beyond what you would simply call "historic" seemed to emerge from every street, avenue, and narrow alleyway. The most numerous and iconic model is the "Ventotto" from the 1500 series. In this snapshot, we can see one of these fine specimens working route 5.
