The classic railway couple and a small great machine
"Pareja" (The Crew). In traditional railway slang, this term was used to describe the driver and the fireman. More often than not, they were assigned to a single locomotive —their locomotive— which was the very centre of their lives and livelihoods.
The case at hand is a little different, though no less significant. Here we have two well-known members of the AZAFT taking charge for the day to bring this little engine to life: the "Cuco", formerly MZA 602. She is a small 0-2-0 shunter that looks just as pristine as the day she was built, exactly as it should be!
