Costa Brava Star on the Costa Brava
In early 2013 they cut back the Estrella Costa Brava train to Barcelona except for Friday evenings when it ran as far as Cerbère, and Sunday evenings when it went from Portbou to Madrid. But that was not all.
The strong point is that it was done along the Mataró line, and this had not been seen in many years. It only appeared in special situations, such as that of the replacement of a bridge on the Granollers line.
Since I knew this wouldn't last long, I decided to take a morning photo where you can see the reinforced service with 3 extra cars instead of the usual 4 cars.
As an anecdote, the day was so clear that it allowed observing following the line of the coast the Mountain of Montjuich, which is 45 kilometers from this point.
