"Odd buttons"
Since the 13th of October of this present year 2018 was the last day that the Cremallera de Núria's Salón Car left service, we decided to head for two points we had pending, one between Queralbs and the Roc del Dui tunnel, and the other at the northern entrance of Ribes-Vila.
What we didn't expect was the pleasant surprise that we took when we had just arrived in Ribes-Villa and could see that they were forming two cargo trucks:
- El 01, amarillo, procedente de la reforma del coche de viajeros Affw-1.
- El P25, blanco, construido en el año 2005 para el transporte frigorífico de alimentos.
So we quickly returned to the car and set off uphill to reach a nearby spot where we could park and hurry on foot to our desired point. We managed it, but with very little margin.

The magnificent and warm light of dawn gradually became clearer until finally, punctually, the veteran Coche Salón appeared drawn by the Beh A8 Balandrau, the youngest of the four cars in this series, with only 23 years behind it.

After meeting the objective we proceeded to complete it, in this case at the northern entrance of Ribes-Villa Station.

It is worth noting that except for the Automotor Beh A8, its siblings A5, A6 and A7 date back to as early as 1985. With just 33 very well-maintained years of hard service behind them and a single renovation.
New improvements and an intermediate car adapted for PMR will be added soon, a long and prosperous future is predicted.
After its tough task, the Car Salon was granted cleaning, pampering, rest, and a few shoves to place it again in its state of torpor. We'll see when it comes out again!
